Many cities and small towns have seen an exodus of residents that in part is attributable to the people’s desire to find work. Whenever a business shuts its doors and moves, the workers that lose their jobs are left scrambling to find other work in order to pay their bills. If jobs are in short supply the job seekers abandon their community and go elsewhere. Housing prices can be affected if enough residents abandon a community. Thankfully, Kitchener’s entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
